ABOUT ME

Cathy Johnson
I was born in Highland NY graduated from Highland High School and started Marist College while working as a bartender and waitress. I fell in love with the hospitality industry and put Marist on hold. I worked my way up in the restaurant business to manager and loved every minute of it. I have three amazing-beautiful boys who are my life!
Realizing it was very hard to raise my boys while I was in the restaurant business, I was able to find a job at the Poughkeepsie Post Office as a City Letter Carrier. This job made it possible for me to raise my boys, with its consistent hours and reliable pay. As I carrier I have always craved that hospitality feel again so I started planning Christmas and Retirement parties, as well as numerous fundraisers.
My passion for these events sparked my ambitions for me to push towards my dreams and started working with Every Season Events as a Planning Agent.
Working at ESE has completely changed my life! Due to the experience, knowledge and training I received from Jennifer, I was able to leave the Post Office and I am now the Catering Coordinator at Marist College. Events are my passion, especially weddings and now I am an Ordained Minister with the Universal Life Church.
Anything is possible if you set your mind to it I am a true believer of that! Lets start planning your next event!

Client Reviews
Janna Cohen - ESE did a phenomenal, above and beyond, gorgeous job with my son's bar mitzvah. They put in more time than they were expected to give, even stepping in last minute with a professional camera and photographing before the service when the photographer messed up her arrival time. They were professional, hard working, prepared and kind. I have already booked them for my younger sons bar mitzvah and I would trust them to delve on the biggest or smallest of events. So outstanding. Truly!
Sarah - Every Season Events were responsible for our day planning and centerpieces for our wedding on July 26, 2014. Our experience with Cathy, Jen, Cassandra and Tanya was AMAZING. I truly believe that we had the best planners in the world. While planning our wedding, my husband and I tried our best to make everything affordable and truly reflect us. We realized about 2 months before the wedding, that we needed help. Calling Cathy and Jen was the BEST decision we made. They literally made sure everything was taken care of, worked with us every step of the way and just made us feel so comfortable. Cathy is so efficient with everything! She called all of our vendors and even made sure that the day of, she was there way before needed! Even when we had a little bit of a rain damper, she, Jen and Cassandra made sure nothing ruined our moment. I truly believe that they stopped the rain haha (that's how good they are) Our centerpieces, made by Tanya were so beautiful. She literally made sure I was comfortable with every detail and used her creativity to the max! I loved working with her. Our guests LOVED THEM! I even caught a couple trying to take multiple home (that's another conversation)! All in all, we are so happy to have chosen such a dedicated group of people. Every Season Events is an amazing company and we are so happy you all made our day the best day of our lives. THANK YOU! Love, Sarah and Eli
Tiffany - Kurt and I cannot thank you enough for EVERYTHING you and your team did to make our wedding day so special. From day one in the planning process, you have been such a big help and a wonderful person to work with. You were spot on with all your advice and helped us make the best decisions. I would recommend Cathy to all couples! She was our saving Grace.
